Helpful Hints

The Water Tonic System requires air-exchange and oxygen to function properly. Do not use thermal/solar blankets. Set your circulation pump to run a minimum of 6 hours per day.

Silky Residue: Odorless and colorless residue on spa surfaces are harmless salts. Sweep gently with hands to disperse.

Amber Colored Build-up on Spa Surface: Indicates overdosing of Water Tonic Spa Treatment. Wipe away with soft cloth and decrease weekly dosage to remedy.

White Flakes, Rough Build-up: Old chemical build-up. Purge cycle not long enough. Add 5ML of Water Tonic Spa Treatment and run jets. If problem persists after 1 week, follow "switching over" directions and purge for 5 days. This problem is more common with well water.

Musty Odor Upon Opening Cover: Trapped CO₂. Normal with tight fitting spa covers.

Foaming: Excess foam when jets are on indicates overdosing. All foam should disappear in 30 seconds after jets stop running.
